Some of what you are talking about (virtualization of ourselves, and how it works for anonymity) is basically where some games have already taken us. "Second Life" is a great example of that, especially. I feel you have a great point how what's currently happening with blockchain and cryptocurrencies is helping lead us into a virtual format that makes such communication easier. Real-time avatars are quickly becoming a more robust reality, too. Check out Stanford University's Face 2 Face technology.
