RE: Curangel curation compilation January 10, 2020

Always a nice surprise when @curangel stops buy and recognizes content that I have also thought worthy of sharing. Hello @galenkp, thank you very much for taking the time out of your very busy day to read this post.

All physical pain I deal with, without ever shedding a tear, but when it comes to the wellbeing of my family and friends, I wear my emotions on my sleeve. Hell, I even cried when my daughter, who is now 30, participated in her first soccer game. As soon as her little legs ran her out onto the field, the tears started to roll.
With that said, this was the toughest posts I've written since joining Steemit almost 19 months ago.

I feel that we've got a couple of things in common, and one of them is, to a large degree, we blog for ourselves.

Grandpa ain't going to live forever, and I find it comforting to be leaving an imprint on this planet that future generations of Jurgensens will be able to track.
It was important for me to leave a trace of this wonderful man, we called Coach K.
Anyone who knew him was a better person for it.

To have you curate this piece and also realize its value was moving.

Comments left by yourself and others including @dandays, @lizelle, @theluzbug, and @planttoplanks, helped to replace the feelings of sorrow one has when a loved one passes, to feelings of gratitude for having crossed the path of such a fine human being!

I'm looking forward to catching up with all of you, as life returns to normal.
