As you can remember in the movie, Chihiro tries to remember his name, his parents, and the world he belongs to. The whole plot struggles against oblivion like we do every day.

From my perspective, the world of spirits, characters stressed by work, and concerned about the material interests of man would be a clear effigy of the daily thoughts that dominate us. Chihiro in general would be a clear representation of ourselves and our spiritual yearning against everything we face daily: the ego, impulses, greed, stress, worries. If you analyze the characters that the girl is along her journey you can see that she is looking for a way to face the whole movie as we do daily with our problems and thoughts.

At the end of the movie Yubaba challenges her to identify her parents among a group of pigs. Chihiro replies that neither is his father or his mother and, indeed, all the pigs were servants (thoughts) transformed. At that moment, our spiritual longing (Chihiro) finally achieves its goal: we will never again be deceived by the ego and its thoughts. Now, we are free.

The author of all this is obviously a very intelligent person to create a teaching of this magnitude, my dear. Not to mention that he is also a very creative person for capturing all that in characters as beautiful as those we meet through travel. The teaching that this film leaves us is beautiful: no matter how much life tries to collapse, with patience, wisdom, and love towards the beings you love, you can overcome every difficulty that comes up.

Hope you like my review. ;)
