Countryside Cattle in India

in #culturevulture6 years ago (edited)

Cattle are found everywhere in the world. I am from India. In India, many people work in the agriculture sector. Some of them who works for other sectors they also work in agriculture. Agriculture is indirectly related to animal husbandry.

People who work in the agriculture sector in India is also committed to animal husbandry. The one most big reason behind that is agricultural wastes. Those who do farming have a lot of leaves of vegetables, straw for feed the pet animal. So they utilize their agricultural waste in feeding cattle.

Some people who do not work in agriculture also pet animal in India. The pet animal for self-use. They use the milk of pet.

Many people totally depend on Dairy products. They have a lot of pet animals. They sell their milk and milk product in the market.

So we can see many kind people work with different variations and depends upon there need.

In India, most people pet cow or buffalo. Goat, sheep and other many are not popular in India as that. So now the question arises why cow or buffalo, not others.

Cow and buffalo give more milk than others and also there waste is used for a burn. Also, their waste is used as fertilizer in agriculture. Cow milk is little cheap than buffalo. People buffalo milk less dilute than a cow. This the reason behind the high rate of buffalo.

I found some photos in the countryside of cattle. These cattle return to their home after grazing in the field. There owner monitoring them and trying to take back to them. I saw many number owner with there cattle. I took photos and go ahead.

In the photo, you can easily see the herd of the cow. There are also some buffalo. Owner uses their milk to sell in the market and make money. All owners do not go directly to sell on the city side. Some of the people buy those milk at a cheap rate in the country and after collecting all milk they go for selling in the city and make a profit by selling at a higher rate. In city population more and less animal husbandry. So demand is more and supplies quite less so price higher than country. Thus the middleman also gets money from selling the milk.

Most of the family in the village have a pet. These pets are useful. They are not a dog or any other like that. They pet mostly those who gives milk so that they get profit. That how countryside cattle are.
Thus the village lif mostly depend on agriculture and husbandry in India.
