Intat Linto Baro Preserve Culture and Custom Aceh.

Intat Linto Baro or intat linto in language can be interpreted (intat, inter, linto; newlywed, bridegroom). So Intint Linto Baro can mean bringing the newlyweds to Dara Baro's residence (newlyweds). Intat Linto Baro is part of a series of marriage processions performed after the marriage ceremony or a kabul permit. In the view of the people of Aceh, it is not legal to marry before doing this one tradition.

The groom (Linto Baro) will be escorted by his villagers to the bride's residence (virgin baro). On that special occasion, the bridegroom was dressed in such a way, shaded, treated like a king in a day. In this procession the groom is accompanied by traditional leaders / kampung walk to the baro duk house to the accompaniment of shalawat over the prophet Muhammad S.A.W. The parcel presented by the bridegroom procession is a symbol of honor in the form of a gift to be handed over to the host (the bride). Usually when the groom's entourage will enter the residence of the bride, greeted with greeting pantun by the host representative, and the guests must reply to the rhyme.

The duties of Linto Baro's preachers are only at the welcoming gate, then the brides will take over the groom and then proceed with the next procession such as peusijuek or fresh flour.

Acehnese customs conducted at important events not only in marriage ceremonies such as children's ceremonies, new building recesses, buying new vehicles, recovering from illness, leaving for pilgrimage, and other moments considered good in society. Peusijuk or fresh flour is done by sprinkling water mixed with grass plants, leaves and grains goto facial or bridal body in the hope of bringing blessing, coolness & eternity in marriage later.
