in #culturevulture7 years ago (edited)

Hello steemit friends, how are you guys today?

Day I will try to discuss a little about the processing of salted fish which is one of the economic livelihoods of Aceh people, from fishing to the sea to the sales process.

Salted fish are dried fish in the sun before they are marketed, these fish were previously obtained from fishermen in the sea, we call them "Tarek Pukat" fish. so!! From there the fish is taken and then processed using salt to be more durable, marinated fish there are several types of fish, ranging from small fish to large fish depending on market demand.

The processing of salted fish in Aceh still uses the traditional way, why not? The way of fish processing here is still using manual method which still rely on matahi as open heater and drying also reach up to two weeks, aiming for fish more durable and soft.

How to make salted fish depends on the type of fish and the size of the fish according to market demand, for the first large fish processing split and weeding, while small fish such as small fish and various other small fish marinated whole. Salted fish processing basically has three ways: prepare wet fish then mixed with salt as needed and drying until few days before marketed.

Fish crawl by fishermen or usually we call, fish "Tarek Pukat" is still a tradition for coastal communities in Aceh and became one of the traditional jobs for aceh fishermen since ancient times, as well as how to process salted fish.

hi
I am from the Culture Vulture Chinese translation team. I had left a message for you under your post "Natural coffee from aceh", asking your permission to let us translate your article.
Just a reminder in case you had missed it. :)

Thank you for taking part in this months #culturevulture challenge. Good Luck.

It looks like a cool process! Very interesting. I'm allergic to most seafood so I steer clear of fish but the process of making it seems intriguing to me.
