This week, @outsiderlookin takes us on a Winter Getaway in Niigata, Japan. If you think Winter is the season of depression, head on over to his post and think again! Warm up and relax in an "onsen" (Japanese hot spring bathing facilities), munch on some deliciously fresh seafood, take a stroll along the beach, rock climb some unique rock formations... there are so many things to do. Not to mention that it is a real treat for photography enthusiasts!

@sweetpea gives us further insight on the culture of her country: South Africa. This week, she tells us all about a traditional Afrikaans desert called "Melktert" - a delicious dish which has been served in her country since the 1600's. If that's not a testimony to how good it must taste than I don't know what is! She's even shared her grandma's secret recipe :)
