The Events before Circumcision. (Celebration)

We all know , most of Indonesian people are Moslem. And every Man in Moslem needs to do circumcision in their certain age (Usually when they young).

Circumcision is to show that a boy had grown-up and must take responsibility in every action they do.
What i want to write here is celebration that most people do before their child doing circumcision, especially here in Aceh.

There are some events during this celebration.
First, boy sitting on the stage that has been prepared . He must wear Traditional Clothes for this celebration. He sit in the chair and surrounded by girl dancers (wear Traditional Clothes). They perform some traditional dance.

What happen next is a bit emotional for the family, Parents and elderly start going up to stage and do blessing ritual to him, they give blessing to him and hope the best for him in the future. They feed him with red sticky rice and then splashing him with rice and water (Blessing Water).

The last part of the event is fun part , fill with pleasent feelings.
All the member of his Family starts to bathing him.

They bathing him with water (blessing water). This is for purify him .

After all of the events , He ready to do the circumcision. (not showing this part) :)
