An excellent post, @stortebeker! Here in Nicaragua, it is celebrated a little differently. It is a day when families get together, bring flowers to the cemeteries to honour their loved ones and after they have a meal together and share memories of their relatives.
Sounds almost like how I remember Nov. 1st being celebrated in Hungary. :-)
