in #culture6 years ago

Bangladesh is a country with almost 90% Muslims. Majority of people here believe in Socialism, Nationalism, Secularism, Social democracy. Their way of observing festival is ostentatious. Despite having the majority of Muslims, Bangladeshi are very helpful and respectful towards other religious people. Racism has no place here. Today I will write about top 5 festivals of Bangladesh. These are following...

Eid-Ul-Fitr

After one month of fasting people here observe this festival in their best way. People used to buy new clothes. They travel to their hometown, their relatives home. This is the day when people of all ages, all classes come together and pray to Almighty to help them and to keep the world peaceful.

Eid-Ul-Adha

People here mostly call it "Kurbanir Eid". This is a festival of sacrifice. In this day people sacrifice cow or goat in the name of Allah. After qurbani, they distribute the meat in Islamic way. The poor people can observe a nice day as they get meat from people who sacrifice in the name of Almighty.

We are Bangladeshi Bangali, love each and others. We believe in freedom and respect all individual religion. Democracy is our destination with religion concept. This is a great job that you exposure Bangladesh to the world.

Colours of life in a short story. Nice cover

Thank You bhai

Good effort, it will help in branding Bangladesh. But I have some observation(my own) in this post-

  1. Pahela Baishakh should be the most inclusive program as it is an universal event irrespective of religion, cast, creed & color.
  2. A photo with sacrificed cow is horrible to see and It may hurt others. So, a decent photo ought be placed here instead.
Despite these, its an attractive topic to write on. So, carry on.

Will edit the picture thank you

always wish for your success.
