In aceh we have unique food and drink, maybe this is not anywhere else. We call it sanger

Sanger is not cofee, sanger is not milk, and sanger is not coffee milk, but sanger is sanger, No one can define what it is sanger, they just know the content and mixture of sanger, that is one third of milk and two thirds coffee without sugar. Every coffee shop in aceh know when we order a glass of sanger, this time sanger is a drink that has been popular among aceh society.

A story used to be around 1980 in ulee kareng banda aceh area when someone is in a condition of difficulty of money and want to drink a glass of water quality (coffee milk). Because of limited money owned, the seller also do not want to lose in the merchandise, then he minimizes the milk content in the mixture of drinks so that the emerging flavor of a new drink of quality, sanger price today is inversely proportional to the price of a glass of coffee milk.

And currently sanger has been re-modified with a mixture of arabica coffee, because it used to only use robusta coffee. And there is also a sense of sanger with a mixture of robusta arabika 40/60 percent.

This is in accordance with the habits of aceh people who like to mix up food so that new taste appears extraordinary. And beyond that the aceh community is extraordinary, although shrewd in mixing the results keeps us wanting to continue to try.
