Shango. (The god of thunder) series #1
When thunder strikes for the ordinary man it is just sound and lightning.
When thunder strikes for the Yoruba person or Benin (Nigeria) who worship shango (god thunder) could mean so many things .
It brings the fresh memory of the god of thunder. It can be the manifestation of an angry god, It can mean that someone somewhere has been served justice by the shango.
The god shango is an angry god.
When the god shango visit, it's impact is felt it comes with thunder and lightning .

My friends Grandmother told me a story of Two friends who stayed together in the west (Yoruba in Nigeria) One was Tobi the other was Adewale .
They worked together and did things together. When they worked for her husband he paid them #10 each and that's making #20 for the both of them, it was quite a huge amount of money then.
It was gathered that Tobi loved to spend and spent all his money in just 2 weeks.
Adewale one morning started searching for where he kept his money he couldn't find it. When He asked Tobi about the money it was gathered that Tobi showed no concern .
They both began to quarrel heavily and great fight ensued the fight called the attention of neighbors in the neighborhood .
After they both narrated their side of their complaint.
One old Baba (herbalist listened to them he asked Tobi about the money and Tobi said he was not in possession of the cash.
The Baba asked again and got the same reply. Baba asked if Tobi will be willing swear shango, there was a little reluctance afterwards Tobi reluctantly said yes.
They both were taking to the shrine of shango to swear.
Tobi swear that he didn't even collect the money. It was exactly after weeks of swearing a heavy thunder struck Tobi and it was like electric shock he died and the #10 was beside him.
