Excellent story, and an all too real account of what happens in a crowd, whether it be a crowd of two or a crowd of a thousand. We've been told that there are such things as truth and falsehood and many of us think we know the difference. But perhaps truth is an elusive thing - no one ever knows enough to be sure. Only that boy knew that he had done nothing wrong. I hate to think how this story continues.
In the end, the stories are repeated. Unfortunately, racism still exists in the world. Discrimination has always existed, but in recent years we have seen with concern how leaders or presidents use it as a flag. It is very sad and worrying. Thank you for your excellent comment, @owasco
