The Palace of Budaiya is one of the most famous monuments of the wonders of the world. The palace is located in the northeastern part of the Kasbah. The palace was built in 1578 under the reign of King Saadi Ahmed Al-Mansour Al-Dahabi. It was built in the same period as the Moroccan army. The Portuguese army was exposed to the demolition by Moulay Ismael in 1696 and the decorative elements were used to decorate the new buildings in Meknes. One of the most important features of this palace is the harmonious design of the buildings around its rectangular courtyard. There are five different lengths of tanks interspersed with a set of gardens. The decoration and the variety of materials used in its construction, such as marble, carved wood and gypsum, as well as columns covered with gold leaves.
