Some time ago, I wrote here a post about the unforgettable love of Alain Delon and Romy. Delon is a survivor and one of the last great stars of European cinema who conquered screens all over the world in the 1960s. I remember appreciating his performance in the films El gatopardo, La piscina. These days, Alain Delon's name was all over the media when he jumped the accusations of his son, who accused him of being macho, violent and xenophobic. A star who has been harshly criticised, who has had a controversial life, but who possesses an undeniable talent. Thank you for this post, @ladyrebecca.
Yes, I've come across some articles on the feud between Alain Delon and his son. I was not surprised, I must say, it seems that quite often famous actors failed as parents, Bette Davis, Marlon Brando, to name just a few. Brando, for instance, admitted to it. I am willing to believe Alain Delon wasn't perhaps a model father, but, on the other hand, I'm afraid there's also a bit of jealousy involved. Anthony Delon tried to follow in his father's footsteps, but never really made it.
