Aceh cultural tradition in pre night wedding party
hi friend to all, now I'll tell you about the culture of the people of Aceh at night pre wedding party.
The wedding party is a tradition entrenched not only in Aceh, even all over the world. The reception is done of course, begins with the process of preparation beforehand. a few weeks ago I had visited one of the pre-wedding party celebration. On the night I was served some food in the event. as in the picture below, the homeowner presents to every guest who comes some foods are varied and depends on the ability of the economic owner of the event. chance on the night I was presented with sticky rice mixed with grated coconut, tea, coffee and a few other foods. unique at midnight, guests are also served curried goat. all dishes are provided for guest participation in preparing the event to the next day.
Guests been helping homeowners in the form of setting up a place, installation of tents and attributes such as decorate the tent, making a welcome and prepare the food menu to be served at the event.
Usually the men prepare the calf that had been slaughtered, cut, wash and then cooked by the women. at night it was, the women prepare cooking ingredients, slicing vegetables and other food type menu.
For matters of cooking rice, usually cooked by men, cooked rice which began at 5 am and the amount varies depending on the number of guests will be invited. after cooking, the rice entered the place of storage and closed tightly to keep warm until daylight.
It's a very social tradition, where all guests can help ease the burden of families in preparing everything the wedding preparations. this is the spirit of mutual cooperation enviable and still cultivated until whenever.
