JUST A NORMAL NORWEGIAN TRADITION

In this post a want to talk about the Norwegian culture, called russetid, or russetime. Every year in april/mai the graduated frats of each year is making a party buss, and rolling around with it around the country for about 4 weeks.
The etymologi of the word russ, comes form 1200th century France, and means to putt something off. Its the final party before stepping inn to the adult world.

In that time, you are able to choose different task. The task can be to eat a burger in two bites, drink a 24 case of beer in 24 hours, or have sex with two people with the same two letters in the same night, or to give your underwear to someone.
its even a task for not showering the hole period.
the tasks are called russeknots. For each task you get a special thing to put in you special hatt.

The preparations are often began 3 years to before, to gather the money spent on the busses, clothing and lots of alkohol Each buss have between 20-30 people, and the partying in going on all day, and all night. Its all about having the best busses, the best soundsystem, and drink the most, while you fuck.

Every russ has there own card they give a way to the children, and there crazy about it. For them its about having the most.
