when will my country free us from corruption

in #culture2 years ago (edited)

Research, public opinion, and policy have all been diverted from the genuine meaning of corruption, allowing it to spread unchecked.
A limited and inadequate definition of corruption has been used by certain authors, especially economists, which has led to distorted estimates of its influence and misguided policy recommendations. According to these criteria, corruption only occurs in the public sector.
A comprehensive definition of corruption that covers both the public and private sectors is adopted by well-known international organizations.
Now in my part of the world issues of corruption have become the norm.
Corruption is contagious and does not respect sectoral boundaries. Corruption involves duplicity and reduces levels of morality and trust. It tempts others to take part and reduces incentives to conform to the rules.
Our culture, tradition, and even our religion have become insignificant. There is no equity in the sharing of resources, the rich continue to be rich whiles poverty becomes an everlasting home for the poor. Students after university continue to be dependent on their parents. The government keeps borrowing money outside and sharing it among themselves afterward, with no jobs and even those employed receive a little penny at the end of each month. An employed youth has a lot of burdens since there is a lot of family pressure. At this moment, today is 29/9/22 and there is still no pay. High cost of leaving and still no adequate allowance.
