Penampilan Rapai Uroeh Massal Di Lhokseumawe

Lhokseumawe, Sebanyak 400 penabuh Rapai Urouh ikut serta menyemarakkan kegiatan launching ikon seni budaya Kota Lhokseumawe yang digelar Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata (Disbudapar) Aceh bekerjasama dengan Dewan Kesenian Aceh (DKA) Lhokseumawe di lapangan Hiraq.

Kepala Dinas Kebudayaan dan Periwisata Aceh, Reza Fahlevi menerangkan, pagelaran Rapai Uroeh ini merupakan agenda provinsi yang dicanangkan sebagai kegiatan seni budaya mendukung program Wonderful Indonesia.

"Rapai Urouh massal ini, sengaja kita gelar untuk mendukung pelestarian seni budaya tradisi Aceh, khususnya di Lhokseumawe, sekaligus diluncurkan sebagai ikon seni budaya Kota Lhokseumawe. Saya rasa ini hal yang luar biasa dan harus didukung oleh semua pihak..

Semoga nantinya Rapai Uroeh akan diusul menjadi warisan budaya tak benda Indonesia, seperti Rapai Pasee yang telah di tetapkan oleh Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan pada tahun 2017 menjadi warisan budaya tak benda Indonesia.
