Permit me, but I enjoy writing talking about my culture and her pride. Yorubas are believed to progenerate from Oodua, and a Yoruba child is never lazy, take it or leave it.

Yorubas are industrious and hard working. Yoruba Sons and Daughters believe in selfless struggles and hard-work to earn a living.

From childhood, they are been thought the ethics of hard-work and how profitable it is to be hardworking.

Let me give you the interpretation of the poem above in the quote

Work hard, my friend
Work/Labour is the major tool for elevation and a successful life
when we have no one to lean on
We would appear indolent
If we do not have anyone to support us
We simply work harder
Your mother might be rich
Your father may have a stable full of horses
If you rely on them without working to earn something
You are close to shame and disgrace, I tell you
Whatever a person does not work hard to earn
Usually, do not last
Whatever gain one seriously labours for with hard-work
Usually, lasts with one

Little wonder, you see Yorubas succeed. This same trait is also found in all African children, which makes us unique and dynamic.

I am a proud Yoruba Child.

Where are you from, are you proud of where you come from?
