This plant is a kind of vines that botanists call Banisteriopsis caapi commonly used by the shamans.
When the stem is boiled or soaked in water then mixed with other natural ingredients, the result is a hallucinogenic substance which they call Yaje (read: ya-hei) or Ayahuasca - Wine for the Soul.

After drinking Yaje, they usually experience one or more symptoms ranging from dizziness, sweating, trembling, convulsions, nausea, prolonged vomiting, severe diarrhea, mucus flow from the nose, fear terrors, and an aggressive drive of action.
