Get closer to the Dayak tribe. Dayak is not really a tribe's name. The so-called "Dayak people" in Borneo generally mean "the Outback" far from city life, known as a tribe with a strong magical heritage. The spiritual sciences become symbols of the peculiarities of the tribal customs that inhabit the interior of Borneo.

One art that is only owned by the Dayak tribe in Kalimantan is the culture of the long ear as the identity of his nobility. Over time, this culture has begun to be left behind by the younger generations who are reluctant to preserve it and now this culture is only preserved by an aging Dayak tribe. Well bgmn when those who still preserve this culture has been called by the creator, then make sure this culture will be extinct to calculate the time.

Aruu's tradition of Telingaan begins when someone is a baby. Initially the process of piercing the baby's ears, Newborns will be given beads beads that are considered quite heavy. After the former piercings dry, then in pairs of threads that will be replaced with wood, so that the ear hole increasingly larger. The procession of ear piercing is known as "Mucuk Penikng", the beads attached to the ear will continue to be added every year which will gradually make the hole bigger and longer.

Well, the purpose of ear elongation conducted by women and men actually has a purpose. For women, ear elongation is used to show the identity of nobility, as well as being used as a differentiator. Whereas in the villages upstream of the Mahakam River extend their ears with different aims, they perform the elongation of the ear to indicate a person's age.
