From time immemorial and at every societal stages, man is always brain brainstorming. He ponders how to solve his immediate societal challenges at that time, from grass used cloths to cotton, so also came the TRIBAL MARKS!
people even Africans are helping such African heritage go extinct, leaving her young generation in total disarray about it's significance.

Presented are historical reasons for the marking of the African child:
*some tribal marks are used for protection: it was some sort of protective mark that is accompanied with powers connecting the tattoo to the wearer.

*It was once used to deter slavemaster: slave masters then saw people with tribal marks on their faces as damaged gods.

*it is used as a rite of passage and attraction: passage rite from adulthood and as a form of makeup to attract the opposite sex.

The issue now is : some group of people find it attractive while others, very repulsive. Many opined that western tattoo is it's replica.
WHATS YOUR SAY???

I don't agree totally with you on this my dear, some traditions needs to be forgotten totally. At this moden time and date, you dont need a mark in your face to be able to identify with your people.
This can lead to low image perception later in life for the poor child when he/she grows up.

People make culture and not the other way round.
