Why teach your children to be competent when you can teach them to be complete pussies?
If true, this is absolutely pathetic. Yes, "climate change" is real, but it should be more appropriately titled as "climate oscillation," or "climate variation": the sum of all natural process by which the earth gets warmer and cooler.
Only problem is - it's ALWAYS happening. The earth is never in balance. There are always forcing acting on earth that have cooling effects, and there are always forces acting on earth that have heating effects.
This is why the concept of adaptability should be taught to children in grade school. Don't teach children that the world is a static place where nothing changes. That's stupidly unrealistic and sets them up for failure. Teach them that world is a dynamic place where things are constantly changing. Teach them that they'll have to develop the capacity to identify patterns, project into the future, anticipate changes that might occur, and prepare for potentialities. Teach them to be competent masters of survival, not pitiful victims of circumstance.
