The Cubans, if they do manage to hurl off their tyrannous commie regime, will tell stories eerily similar to those behind the Iron Curtain in twentieth century Europe. Theirs will be the Western Hemisphere’s first eye-witness account of Communism (if you don’t count California, Canada, Portland, and parts of Seattle, heh-heh) from the inside, and they may be the best kind of Americans; ones who know how good we’ve got it and why. Americans are more likely to believe the testimony and warning of their American-loving contemporaries from the neighboring island than they are to be moved by long-dead Eastern Europeans, even though the Wall came down recently in ‘89.

Amazingly, tragically, many Europeans haven’t learned the lesson and have empowered a new tyranny from which only one set of states have successfully seceded.

Cubans will expose how it wasn’t our embargo on them that caused their ruination and thereby humiliate AOC. And that’s why Democrats have always opposed their migration; they’re republicans. Dems will find a way to build a wall in the ocean to keep them out. Dems are still reeling a little after discovering how many others from south of the border liked Trump. But they are still comfortably in the lead among them, so they can’t import them fast enough.
