The strategic importance of videos in affiliate marketing is growing every day. Video is replacing text more and more and every affiliate marketer or any business should start to use video to promote their services or products.

I honestly have some doubts about that statement. With technology advancement, artificial intelligence and "deepfake" technology beging developed - it's just a matter of time before our youtube videos can be used to cause us great harm.

Can you imagine your mother and all your friends receiving email with video from you, asking for their financial help. They would see your face, hear your voice and the way you would structure sentences would remind them 100% of you. There would be no reason to believe, that it's all manufactured.

And in that video you would explain how your kiddo got into accident and you urgently need to collect 50k usd for operation and all you're asking is to send no more than 500usd to provided account. Such a small amount, that noone would be alarmed and concerned.

Youtubers in my opinion will face extreme threats, especially if they are using their own real faces in their videos. Wouldn't you be afraid that one day it may happen to you? By uploading our own videos we're providing "abusers" with enormous amount of valuable data.
