ESL One Belo Horizonte, or Counter-Strike returns to Brazil

The ESL leaders have announced that the next event under their banner will be held in Belo Horizonte, one of the larger Brazilian cities.
Professional Counter-Strike games were last played on Brazilian soil almost two years ago, when the finals of the fourth season of the ESL Pro League were played in São Paulo. Then, before their own audience, the representatives of SK Gaming took the second place on the podium, but their success also had an impact on the promotion of electronic sports among Brazilians.

In June again the best teams from around the world will visit one of the largest countries in the world, but this time to Belo Horizonte , where the ESL One series tournament will take place. Eight teams will fight for the lion's share from the pool of two hundred thousand dollars. Four teams will receive a direct invitation, while the other four will fight for participation in the qualifying rounds.

We do not know much about this event yet, over time the organisers will announce the invited teams and organise eliminations that will select the other participants. The competition will start on June 13, and finish at 17, the finale will be finalised in the best-of-five format.
