Cry to me of Fair Elven Lady Pt 2

Her heart pounded heavily upon awakening this day. It was late in the afternoon and there was something odd about the way she woke up.. she tried so desperately to remember..

What is it I need to remember? She thought to herself.

The rain was pouring outside the cave she had been living in these few months. Her ears were bleeding on the tips. her hair had been shaven off and there were blood marks and bloody footprints all over the floor.. She tried so hard to remember.. She shook her head as her stomach growled.

I need to find some food before the sun goes down. She thought.

As she wrapped her torn rags around herself she felt a twinge in her stomach, and a sharp pain in her back. Collapsing to the floor of the cave in agony she cried out. Her eyes burning with rage and fear at the same time she cried out

"Lokkainda!!" She did not know who this person was, but it was the first name that came to her mind.

For some reason the name brought a sadness to her unlike any she had felt. She decided to go to the creek side and wash her wounds and forage for roots and berries. The images flashed through her mind.. horrific bloody and gruesome.. she couldn't stop them.. they played out like a movie.

Could these be my memories? or just a delusion? She thought to herself.. Unicorns do not exist! She shook her head as she gathered her berries..

She suddenly heard a baby cry and the sound of bells and chimes.. the wind stood still and the trees started glowing silver gold..

Hello Reijya.. it has been a while... a foreign yet familiar voice spoke in her head. She paused and looked around as if there were someone near.

A white horse suddenly appeared from the trees with a satchel around it's neck.. the white horse came up to Reijya as if it had once belonged to her.. inside the satchel was a baby girl.. no younger than 3 months old.. The baby had pointed ears and deep violet eyes with silver hair like her own hair.

Don't you remember her? Don't you recognize your own daughter Reijya? Can you see my horn? or do I appear as just a horse to you?! the voice seemed angrier than before..

"Are you?... No.. That is silly.. Horses can't read minds.." Reijya said to herself.

I am not just any horse.. there was a flash of light and a large transparent silver horn appeared on the horse's forehead.. please Reijya your daughter needs your love. It has been 3 long months.. surely you have remembered what has happened to you by now...

Reijya's jaw dropped and she became speechless.. she reached for the baby in the satchel and held her.. suddenly memory after memory flooded back... how the Mare had scooped up Gaia (the baby) and ran away with her to the Elvish resistance.. how this white mare in particular was the last of her breed.. how the human Elf Hunters had caught up with them and took her husband as a slave, beating her, cutting off her ears and shaving her head.. leaving her to die beaten, raped and bloodied alone in the cave...

Fears came to the fair Elven Lady's eyes and she cried deeply clutching her infant closely.

Come now.. this satchel also has food in it. Eat up and let's find your husband.. You are soon to become Queen of the hollow earth. There is much prepping for battle and planning to be done.. but first we must get you healthy and save your husband.. our future king..
