Learning about cryptos

Throughout the last 5 years I have learnt a lot from YouTubers. Health, wealth and Flat Earth, and anything else I needed to learn about. However now I truly believe in listening to others on this network, reading the comments and assessing the information, because if I had listened to the talk about bitcoin and ethereum and made the obvious investments I would have been laughing now, instead I'm catching up on the technology and importance of the cryptocurrency world.
They say we are still early to game and until mainstream adoption occurs, we can make small investments now that should blossom into significant growth.
I have spread my investments around, but feel like Ian Balina on YouTube has the right tact and that is focusing on I.C.O's (Intial Coin Offerings).
If I was new to game, I'd be looking for 20-50x returns on my first investments and then I can reinvest those into new projects that will blossom over the years.
I have lost money during my initial learning period, with fees and buying at too higher price when I'm excited by the coins increase and feel I want to be part of its growth. Buying in the dip is the only thing that makes sense, and these coins will always dip, and often quickly spring back up, so always have some cash ready to buy and don't go full in, unless your sure of the outcome.
This is not financial advice.
