Tether Hacked and Heisted for $31 Million in Bitcoins
A $31 million heist of Tether, the company behind a cryptocurrency pegged to the US dollar, sends Bitcoin and Ethereum falling against the dollar. In a release, Tether, which created a cryptocurrency called USDT, said the currency was "improperly removed," and they will not redeem any of the stolen tokens.
