The New addition in my Crystal Family 💖🥰
It's been so so long that I have been away from my Crystals and been missing them so much.
I guess the universe clearly knows what I love, what I need and what I want. There is always some magic that it keeps playing with me. And I get this beautiful Selenite Chakra wand from a friend.
The wand that I get from my friend, absolutely a delightful one to even look at.
Selenite is my 2nd favorite crystal after Amethyst and I love the energy of this crystal. It is absolutely soothing and calming. Just holding it soothes down my senses. It gives this Angelic effect giving comfort.
My Gorgeous Selenite Hearts. It's common color is white but sometimes you will get them in this peach color. I have not seen any other color besides this one. These ones I have been having since some time.
A little history and information on Selenite
Normally each of these crystals have a folklore around them as to how did they originate.
For Selenite it is believed that God paused and took a deep breadth while he was creating the world, and when he exhaled the light shattered all over and the Selenite crystal was formed.
The scientific explanation for it is, which all of us will go with; is that with continuous water seepage into the limestone which dissolves the sulfide ores to produce sulfuric acid which in turn produces evaporated sedimentary rocks, leaving behind the chemicals that were dissolved in them. These chemical that is the calcium mixed up with oxygen and hydrogen helps form Selenite
Selenite is also called as a Prism crystal since its formation is based on monoclinic crystal system formation, which basically means formations are with tilted matching faces at opposite ends, which gives it a disfigured rectangle formation. Prisms are good for reorganizing and filtering light at different wavelengths which enables a smooth flow of energy. Selenite when you hold instantly gives this smooth energy flow feeling.
I love to keep Selenite pieces in different formation in my home, just love their presence around.
On the healing side, because of it's coolness it helps in soothing down energies which in-turn helps in stabilizing the body specially the nervous system, calming down stress levels and stabilizing emotions. If you look at it, it has this icy effect.

Again as I would say, Crystals are not individual treatment therapies, they are just an aid to balance the energies. Everything in the Universe is energy and crystals geometry is almost similar to human geometry, which gives them the power to work.
Selenite is a crystal for higher chakras, i.e. the Third Eye and Crown Chakra, a very good booster for creative visualizations. People in creative fields do prefer to have one. It's a crystal with high and fine vibrations. You hold it for 10 to 15 minutes in any situation where you are disturbed and you will for sure relax down in a matter of time.
