Hello All Traders,

In order to put an extra security layer on your Bittrex & Poloniex Exchanges, everyone need to enable 2 Factor Authentication from their accounts. This is very important because i am seeing many traders lose their account due to some sort of hacking/phishing. So in the next section I will explain step by step on how to enable 2FA.

Steps to enable 2FA:

1. First download "Google Authenticator" app from Google Play(Android) or Apple Store(iOS).

2. Open Poloniex/Bittrex Exchange and click "Two factor Authentication".

3. Open the app that we installed in 1st step and scan the QR code that is displayed on the right side of the screen.

-This is the most important step-

4. At the bottom of QR Code there is a 16 Digit Key. Kindly copy it and put in safe custody because if the cellphone got stolen/erased/app uninstall then you need to give this 16 Digit key to the support.

5. When QR scan is complete, the app generates the 6 Key Code. Type your password along with this 6 digit code and congratulations 2FA is enabled in your account.
