Group of Bitcoin developers claims they launched an attack against the Lightning Network;

The attack was undertaken by the ”bitPico” group, who announced the attack on Twitter, claiming it was being done as a ”stress tool”  for the Lightning Network; furthermore, they group argued that the DoS  exploit attack discovered 22 attack vectors från around 384 endpoints;  attacks like these help put the spotlight on flaws in the software  integration, and gives developers time to implement solutions before the  technology reaches mainstream adoption - Link
