My first steps in this small world called trading were one dollar at a time, the best gain I've obtained was a sale with a 120% profit my biggest loss (no one loses until he sells) was an operation in which trust, but end up losing 100% of the value remaining in neutral and without many sales options.

there are many ways to make a profit, some have long term strategies some others operate short and others move in waves where the money moves they follow.
to conclude my comments I can comment that it is an interesting experience and that can absorb part of your time, I advise but taking our pre-orders.
