Other bots send messages as memo to a 0,001 transfer to those people using bidbots. It could be an idea to reach more people and grow your bot. Some consider it spam but I do not see it that way.
I would consider that spamming people. Ive gotta start my new Steem monsters giveaways, that will help a little. Thanks for the idea buddy
