My 2018 Hodl Portfolio

Hello everyone,
last year has been crazy and 2018 is going to be even wilder, with a lot of new people coming into the space and many projects going live to show real world applications and the disruptive nature of the blockchain technology.

I have learned a lot last year from trading cryptocurrencies, studying dozens of projects, whitepapers, teams and technologies. I still think that traders can easily outperform the market in 2018, but it requires a lot of dedication. As we have seen last year, those people who made the right choices at the beginning of the year and kept on to their coins often had a better performance than those trading. Further new legislation came into play that favours holding assets for a year.

Consequently I have set up a diversified crypto portfolio at the 31st of december 2017 that I will hold for a year. To make calcultions easy, I will normalize the values to fictive portfolio size of 100.000 EUR and will keep you posted about the performance. The portoflio is based on a lot of research and contains is mix of projects that may be leading in their respective sectors.
