Winter trees reflecting steem prices
The weather is gloomy, skies are grey and the general mindset tends to be down and low.
Crypto markets are down, no one knows which way this is going to go. Just when you think the markets are stable, prices keep testing the support levels.
Investors are tired and exhausted, looking for a bull run and eagerly waiting when this is going to happen though some are only waiting for days if not months.
The trees are without a single leaf and appear dead but we all know this is not true. There is spring and summer are everything is going to bloom.
Hope and patience are virtues. I am trying to inculcate these from some of the early investors and adopters.

That's an apt analogy. In my case, steem is never gonna be a lose as I have cashed out a good amount when it was in its spring. Time was my only investment then.
Now, I'm all set to wait for another 2,3 or even 5 years to see a good value. I won't gonna sell my steems unless I see a minimum $5/steem tag. Converting that into INR, I can sell 3000 steems for 12,50,000 rupees which for sure can serve as a backup plan to start a small business in case I fail to get a good job.
If things go wrong, I'm not at all worried as this money that I have invested here is quite small and bearable!
Hey bro @moghul nice pic and yes as you said about Crypto Market trends that it's testing our patience. Short term investors are really troubled and even for long term don't know how long. We can only wait and wait for bullrun.

If January and February will be like in 2018 then we can't expect any bull run soon. I like the metaphor of the crypto prices with with the tree branches. At some point leaves are going to grow again when the next cycle comes. The thing though with crypto is that we can not time cycles.

Hope is all I have left in the space. I doubt I will invest any more in it in the future. It's been a year for me without any profit from it. It was all my decision though...
I have decided to buy small amounts as i see a potential in steem.
I know waiting for a year is pain, i am prepared to give this a bit more time

Only my expectations created pain. If I wouldn't have expected anything than I would simply keep the coins on a wallet and that's it. We'll see how 2019 performs. Hopefully it will be better than 2018.
It is really saddening but we just have to not lose hope @moghul because I think it is just a cycle and we are just in the down part of it but soon maybe it will go up high again then we will be ready.

Don't feel too bad, I've lost a ton of money in Crypto. But I am trying to be optimistic and see this as a buying opportunity. I still think Steem could be a great investment! I think the tough part is getting more people to get on board and be active.
I am trying to convince atleast 5 of my friends or family members to join the steem platform. If everyone of us does this, it would be huge numbers to start with and it is not difficult at all
