I think institutional trading will ruin crypto to an extent, just like it has with commodity trading. Crypto was meant to be a peer to peer means of trade, not a quasi-stock market.
There are ruining it for us (retail investors) not for the overall players.
But I would agree that Cryptos were supposed to be P2P
