Good morning CryptoPub and welcome to the start of another week of work and trading! Looking back on my Weekend Warriors quick check and prediction https://steemit.com/cryptopub/@vanessav/cryptopub-daily-weekend-warrior-quick-check it looks as though my guess of $6,440 to start the week was not so bad as that's where we were at midnight my time.

A relatively green Monday to start the week as volume remains low and Bitcoin is up 1% to around $6475. The stronger alts Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash are up a bit more around +4.5% while Zcash is lagging behind a little, down a point. In the Poodle Race of entertaining lesser alts, we have Tron (TRX) doing the best today up 2% while FunFair (FUN) is in last place down almost 5%.

To start the week, I am looking at the daily Bitcoin chart where each candle represents a 24-hour period of price action. I have wiped out my crazy mess of resistance and support lines from a mind-numbing bearish spell in hopes of scaring away the grizzly ghosts. We are very close to the 7-month resistance level which is relatively strong at 4 touches since then. With any volume, we should break through it but the question is, How Strongly? With the MACD having crossed upwards for the first time since that last big spike, room to grow to overbought on the STOCH, the tendency for bitcoin to make its biggest moves at the top of the STOCH, and not too much resistance, I am saying up. 3-month resistance and the top Bollinger Band are right around the $6,650 mark which would be my conservative guess. With another spike in buying, we could see a run up over 7k but I am not overly optimistic about that prospect just yet.
