Good afternoon CryptoPubbers and welcome to lunch time at the beginning of the work week.

Trade volume is down across the board as we return to the work week as Bitcoin is hanging onto the $6,700 level op a modest half point from this time yesterday. EOS, NEO and Monero are up a little more around 4% with low volume and ETC is curiously in the red a little as is Bitcoin Gold. In my Clown Race of entertaining altcoins,ELF is in the lead up 6% and FUN is trailing the rest, down 1% on the day.

The daily BTC chart keeps moving sideways on the top of the STOCH and there 12 hour is doing the same so I am looking a little closer at the 6-hour chart. A little spike in trade volume this morning is fuelling an increase in price as the buying support seems to be correcting the trend on the STOCH support index. It is nice to see the price rebounding off the median Bollinger line as the short term continues to look bullish. It does look as though we have gotten distinctly over the month long weaker resistance and the 3-hour chart is showing an upward cross for a short term pump. I am still eying the 7k mark for a hedge sell as we are overbought and due for a correction on the longer term charts.

Monero is a popular privacy coin in the pub so I am looking at an interesting daily chart. We have just broken through 5-month resistance and have popped to the top of the STOCH with the recent buying support. I believe we may pop up to the top Bollinger line in the short term and will be watching closely as price approaches $100 and see if the time spent at the bottom of the STOCH will be mirrored at the top here. If so, the 7-month resistance level is within reach at about $120 and would signal a nice longer term correction for Monero.
