What is NVO? Is it only one of thousands new ICOs?
Hallo guys,
the first thing I do after waking up, is to open my laptop and look up what is going on on coinmarketcap, poloniex, bittrex, kraken and so on. And after realizing that the market cap is still growing and growing, and my portfolio will also do so, I noticed there is a new ICO, which will end in 13 days.
What do you think about ICOs in generell? Me, I am a little bit suspicious.
I was watching a youtube video of the blockchain conference and one of the monero founder, who was invited as a speaker, said, that the people get too much money through ICOs! It is not possible to invest all of this money in technology.
And I asked myself, what may people do, who have to much money without starting working???
Maybe holiday!?!? Who knows!
And as we all know, that ICOs a real risky and most of them you have never heard after.
So, but what especially is NVO about?
They call themselves a "Cross-platform Modular Decentralized Exchange".
How is this supposed to work?
By employing a validator on the Safenetwork for orders validation, a P2P trustless decentralized exchange can be created.
What are the benefits?
- Open source wallet for storing crypto-assets. Keys are created client sided and never sent to any servers.
- No personal data or private info
- Direct exchange between wallets without the use of proxy tokens.
- Assets are always under users' full control even during exchange.
5.Users can enable as many different assets as they want through an open plugins system. - Being dynamic means we can bridge utilities from other projects like XRP fiat gateway.
So, what do you think about this ?
If the team could keep their promises, it looks like an interesting project, but I am not sure about this. Their are some other projects like prism which seems to be similar to NVO. And I also realized that the team on the website consists only of two persons and they are pretty young..... I am not sure, if they can handle such a big project.
