Are pagans the origin of civilization?

in #cryptonewshaiti5 years ago

I just read an article about the origin of Mother's Day, given it's Mother's Day in Haiti this Sunday.

The article talks about the pagan origin of Mother's Day. So I remembered that almost every social holiday is pagan. So I wonder; are the pagans at the origin of the civilization, of the socialization of man? I am not a sociologist, but a tenuous tale of the social benefits of these pagan holidays to humanity.

Then where will we be now if the pagans did not exist? or even more, who would we be? Barbarians ......?

Glad you make this post, but you haven't share any reference to back it.

That's good to know Mother's Day shouldn't be taken as is without knowing its origin.
