Epidemic cryptojacking not only appears on PC, but also to Android phones and smart TV, as found by researchers at Netlab360.
According to researchers at One of the cyber security companies, there are hackers who attack thousands of Android phones and smart television sets to turn them into popular crypto currency miners such as Bitcoin and Monero.
There are at least 7000 infected devices in China, which makes all the devices incorporated into a network that combines all of its computing power to mine Monero, as quoted from Zdnet,
Although the current number of victims is still very little, according to cyber security experts, will be more and more hackers who use this method. For the sake of seeking additional money using resources such as computers, phones, tablets and other devices belonging to its victims, without the cost of buying a device or paying for internet access.
According to Netlab360, this attack exploits open ports in the operating system that make these devices can communicate on the internet. Port in question is port 5555, which is used by hackers to find Android phones and unprotected smart TV.
Then the devices are infected with malware, and keep looking for other devices to expand the network of its victims. Google itself has not commented about the malware OS that attacked the homemade OS.
So for Android phone users, you have to be careful, always plug Anti Virus on your device, and also install adsblock in your browser.

It is always good to share this kind of information. People have no clue 99.99999% of the time what is embedded inside many of the phone apps they download n their phones. I don't think even 1/3 of them even pay attention to the warnings they app is forced to tell you like we need access to your contacts photos ability to change SMS contents etc....
Best thing is to just write letters with a pen and avoid computers and cell phones all together, but then If I did that I could not ask @jerryubanfield to resteem this or even write this reply.
