cryptogene; bringing the African revolution through cryptocurrency

It is no news that bitcoin is a cryptocurrency while MMM is a ponzi scheme. But one thing that is still yet to fully clear around is the distinction between these two entities. Many Nigerians and Africans alike still tend to mix up a tool from a system, with MMM being the system and bitcoin being the tool. As you might know, MMM is a platform (ponzi scheme) that only used bitcoin and one of the form of exchanges; just thesame way naira was one of such means of exchange.

Fast forward to what we have now, many are still yet to have a distinction between the two and many other schemes as earlier said. Many do not understand the concet of cryptocurrency not to talk of understanding the blockchain.

There is this platform that evolved sometimes around when these ponzi scshemes infested the fabrics of the financial space of many individual. Maybe one and major thing the ponzi things did was bringing people (with similar interests in "making money") together under one umbrella. I remember being a part of a Get Help Worldwide group that trancends from a less than 500 membershi into a massive 4k membership up till the time I couldn't even follow up with discussions on the platform.

So, as I said, these created a gathering of like minded induviduals which then metamorphosed into the creation of a group intended to educate people and share knowledge on things about crypto. This was the birth of cryptogene in December 2016. This group have now decided to further on with their plans and intentions by creating a token to facilitate their goal of educating africa about cryptocurrency and the blockchain.
