The relationship between the Probe and the Child probe is a lot similar +o how normal humans relate with their kids

The probe had regretted several times; 432 times to be exact, ever creating the child-probe and had wished just as many times that it had simply created a clone of itself.

No parents admits this openly, but am sure many parents at one point or the other have felt this way. Kids can be a bother, I know because I was such a bother to my own parents...lol
