The journey so far for exchange coins.

Exchange coins are crypto trading platform's coins that allows its holders to have access to some exclusive privileges like earning in a hassle free way. Below shows the the performance of some exchange native coins this year's Q2 report :

CEX. Coin. Max. Increase. Current increase. Decrease
Bitget. BGB. 185.5%. 156%. Nil
Okex. OKB. 122.5%. 62.4%. Nil
Binance BNB. 42%. Nil. 1.7%.
Others like Huobi & Bitmart have the worst performance according the research done by Tokeninsight's Q2 Exchange Quarterly Report data.

From my observation, it seems that CEXs with their native coins doing well could be linked to some utilities of the coins say launchpad, launchpool, among others or is there any thing special about these native coins that are different from the ones I highlighted above?
