Crypto currency Marketcap already larger than these global companies
Its been a turbulent past couple of weeks in the Crypto world largely because of the anxiety surrounding the future of the king crypto currency(Bitcoin). There is more certainty around bitcoin now and thus the whole Crypto market is recovering.
In this post , I try to compare the market cap of the crpto-currrency market to that of some global companies. These are companies with established business models and a lot of top investors. See analysis below:

Already you can see some interesting observations from the analysis. Crypto currency is already disrupting the payment industry. For example western union is one of the most popular international money transfer services in Nigeria but bitcoin can be used in its stead now to send money into nigeria.
The adoption of Crypto currencies is still quite low, Imagine what would happen when it goes mainstream, maybe we can visit this data again then to see what has changed.
