1. The Russian Association of Crypto-Currency and Block-Finish (RACIB) and industry associations in Korea and China are planning to sue Google, twitter, Facebook and Yandex for refusing to place cryptocurrency advertising, RACIB head Yuri Pripachkin told the Blockchain RF-2018 congress. The parties intend to file suit in May, Russian publishing giant tass reports.
2. Real Time Gross Settlement systems are special payment systems where the transfer of funds is conducted between banks in “real time” and on a “gross basis”. This means that transactions are settled as soon as they are processed on a one-to-one basis without linking with any other transaction. RTGS systems are usually used for high-value transactions requiring instant clearing and operated by a country’s central bank.

Bitcoin (BTC) may be down 40 percent on a year-to-date basis, but the cryptocurrency still looks set to outshine its rival bitcoin cash (BCH) in the short-term, the technical charts indicate.As of writing, the bitcoin cash/bitcoin (BCH/BTC) exchange rate is seen a 0.1104 BTC on Bitfinex - the lowest level since March 9. BCH had dropped to a low of 0.10723 BTC on March 7, but defended the falling channel support, as seen on the chart below.

5. The increased scrutiny by Japan’s financial regulator following Coincheck’s infamous $530 million NEM theft will reportedly see two cryptocurrency exchange operators shutter and exit the industry.
6. Bitfinex, the fifth-largest cryptocurrency exchange by 24-hour trading volume, is looking to hoist itself out of Hong Kong and settle in Switzerland, as first reported by Handelszeitung. As confirmed by sources close to Bitfinex, the exchange is already in talks with Swiss authorities.
7. The marketing organization said it was interested in testing crypto’s underlying Blockchain technology for their finance operations and might use it for international payments. As a global company, the GNTB wants to “set an example as a [driver of innovation] and leader for the tourism [industry],” Hedorfer continued.
