Well that's why those who invest, do so based off the security of bank intervention. It would not surprise me if the banks had enough control of Ripple for it to move to the top, knocking out BTC as the contender. My point about Ripple wasn't what I personally think, but what I imagine someone who is a big Ripple investor would think.

As an investment choice is absolutely solid and a wise choice... as innovation its a well managed project that saw a gap and is working towards a solution...
Despite all that I can't help but feel a little dirty that it's so centralised, which gives it security in the short-term... but kind of doubles down on the whole reason why crypto was invented in the first place.
I'd be 0% surprised if it moved to the top spot, but man that would be a shame.
