RE: North Korea 'hacked crypto-currency exchange in South'

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

This attack is said to date back to February, when a Bithumb employee's home PC was targeted - though it was only discovered in June.

Crypto boom, if well used, stands for heaven for organized criminal and frauds of any kind. It is inevitable, some people will always see dollars and nothing else.

This kind of news was pretty frequent, for my sensitivity levels, durring 2017. Can't see that trend holding on during 2018 because blockchain, along with people who are working in development, exchanges, the whole crypto system and idea behind it wouldn't make any sense if eventually someone finds a way to jump in and take out what we hold valuable.

Bottom line, if value is insecure so is the whole system.
